2017-2018
I call these the Ambassador of the Art Award & Louvre Exhibit years.
2017-2018
Sometimes opportunities are to be seized! Between 2017 and 2018. I was fortunate to be invited to show my art at amazing events and I also got the opportunity to curate a lot of local art exhibits. I am so grateful for supporters like you. A big thanks from the heart!

A photographer from Iran came to the studio from Iran and was proud of me for supporting the Persian community in Canada and all the diaspora of war and did a little photo shoot of me painting at Lotus. Kamar Photography's contact is available via my Instagram page.

Mr. Hans Playner with one of the leaders of Austria supporting my paintings from across the globe.

This is what I paint with when I paint with Oil paint. I am a very lazy painter, I hate cleaning up brushes and refuse to use toxic cleaning mediums. So I love to use palette knives, rubber knives and other homemade tools.

The lovely lady from Pakistan who carved the bamboo sticks for me to paint with.

A private exhibit I curated with local artists from Edmonton. It was themed around Calligraphy and how over time it holds a special place in the world of art. I hope to offer more exclusive exhibits like this in the future to members of my studio. The show was such a success. There was art, artifacts from Persia and Asia and slides on the history of Calligraphy and its connection to peace and community.

Someone from Pakistan was proud of my artistic vision for peace and community. A lady hand-carved these bamboo sticks and sent them to me as a gift to help me create. I have not had the heart to use them yet but will. They are on my table as a great motivation. I was born in Pakistan. One of the things most dear to me is peace and love so I love these.

Two artists shared the floor with me on the Calligraphy Exhibit at Lotus for Peace. Follow me on my Instagram to see what they are up to these days.

One of my favourite moments at the Lotus Art Gallery was when people came in and left with art.

Artists from around the world at Lotus

Local artists at the Foundry

Me, mind blown by the talent in the house that night!

A group of female entrepreneurs in the city of Edmonton. They are always ready to help.

An art exhibit I curated in collaboration with French female artists of Edmonton. Karen, Denis, and Doris are part of the tiny but an important museum of women and exhibit with me and other artists at the French Art Gallery, Galerie CAVA. I have always enjoyed working with them at the Galerie Cava to help promote French language rights and culture. I grew up in Montreal and as an immigrant I had a very difficult time adapting to the French Language. The obstacles shaped the way I studied or choose career paths and it also effected my family economics. I strongly believe if we are going to have strong rules on keeping the French Language there needs to be more French exposure with art, art workshops, artists talks and so much more. Between 2020-2022 I ran an artist breakfast art club at the Galerie CAVA where people could come paint and talk and hear French being spoken. It was a super fun experience and I hope to continue to work with French community in Edmonton and Alberta to create opportunity for French Artists from all kinds of backgrounds.

A private art battle where I got to battle against this very talented group of artists. I was proud to take home the champion award that night, though they were all also very deserving. May be next time! Im always up for a challenge!

The artists from Caprice art exhibit. They are members at Galerie CAVA. A French community art gallery. I spent some Tuesdays at the CAVA and take part in the members exhibits because I strongly believe that exposure to French as a language in a creative atmosphere makes it easier to understand the culture. I hope to se you at the Galerie CAVA one of these Tuesdays!

An art mixer and solo art exhibit at the Foundry in Edmonton, AB

An artist I met in the Rockies is hoping to work with me in the future to create a studio tour across Alberta and BC mountains. I hope that Covid has not killed her motivation to connect and hope to work with her at some point in the future.

There were lots of really interesting musicians and poets at the exhibit at the Foundry Mixer and the success of this mixer led to many more mixers. The foundry runs these mixers on a regular. Hopefully, some new ones will run in the new studio building and I will get to share my new goals with people shaping our world.

This wraps up my 2017-2018 years of art. I am so grateful and happy that my hard work led to this red carpet walk at the VIP party at the Louvre in Paris, oct 2017. I never like to brag but showing this picture to motivate you to keep on keeping on and follow your hearts! Let's keep making more art and spreading the love!
