Artist Statement

"Lost in the Haze of the Three Sisters" is a meditation on the invisible yet enduring connections we share with our siblings and loved ones. Set against the backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains, the painting captures a familiar landscape, but with one of the Three Sisters peaks mysteriously absent, veiled by a wall of blue haze. This subtle omission symbolizes the emotional space we sometimes experience in relationships—whether it’s physical distance, separation, or the quiet moments when we are apart from those who matter most.

The blue haze represents the intangible, unspoken threads that still bind us together, even when we're not able to be in each other's presence. It speaks to the unshakable bond of love that exists beyond visibility, reminding us that the connections we cherish are always there, even when we cannot see them. Through this piece, I explore themes of unity, absence, and the emotional landscape of familial love.

This work will be on display at my upcoming exhibit in Spain this February, and I invite you to join me in the journey leading up to the show. Follow me on Instagram for insights, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and updates about the exhibit. Let’s stay connected through art.
