On My Knee, On Exhibit ZUG Switzerland

  • Thomas Gallery 4 Schmidgasse Zug, ZG, 6300 Switzerland (map)

Artist Statement

This oil painting captures the quiet strength and vulnerability of the human form, expressing both grace and intimacy through the depiction of a nude female figure on her knee. The figure, bathed in soft pinks and complemented by various hues, is rendered in rich textures that evoke a sense of movement and tactile depth. Each brushstroke carries an emotion, a gesture of love, as the colors blend and shift, creating a palpable sense of connection between the subject and the viewer.

The painting’s texture-rich palette enhances the sensuality of the form, inviting a closer look at the tactile qualities of the painting itself. The various shades, while subtle, offer hints of contrast, drawing attention to the figure’s posture and the emotional resonance it carries. This piece is not only a celebration of the female form but also a tribute to the tender, transformative power of love and connection.

This work will be featured in my upcoming exhibit at the Thomas Gallery in Switzerland this February, and I invite you to visit my Galleries page and Instagram, where I will be sharing insights and the excitement leading up to the exhibit. Your engagement and connection with the artwork are deeply appreciated.
